Overview
XSkills is a supervised workflow compiler. It finds repeatable AI workflows in your X bookmarks, researches the strongest candidates, and prepares evidence-backed skill drafts for Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
It is not a bookmark manager, feed reader, generic summarizer, or autonomous installer. News, opinions, announcements, and vague ideas without a reusable process do not become skills.
Getting started
- Sign in and connect X with read-only bookmark access.
- Choose Telegram or the dashboard for draft delivery.
- Select Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor as your agent.
- Pair the macOS connector using the versioned command shown during onboarding.
The initial import examines a bounded set of recent bookmarks. Later runs process bookmarks newly discovered since the previous successful sync.
Daily workflow
Once per day, XSkills checks for new bookmarks, filters for actionable AI workflows, follows relevant source links, and records the evidence supporting each instruction. Candidates are graded for relevance, specificity, evidence coverage, and safety before a draft is shown to you.
A draft includes its purpose, source, research notes, guardrails, target agent, files, risk level, and exact checksum. Unsupported claims are excluded or called out as prerequisites instead of being turned into invented commands.
Review and safety
Telegram summaries accept YES to approve the open batch, REVIEW to inspect drafts one at a time, andNO to dismiss the batch. The dashboard provides the same source, evidence, file, and decision context.
Installation always requires a recorded approval for the exact package checksum. Any revision creates a new version and invalidates the earlier approval. XSkills can read bookmarks and source context, but it cannot post, reply, or alter your X account.
Connector basics
The connector requires macOS and Node.js 22 or newer. It stores its device credential in macOS Keychain, verifies every file hash and the aggregate checksum, and installs approved packages atomically into the selected agent. Packaged scripts are written as text and are never executed by the connector.
